The stock market-listed, family-owned company SW Umwelttechnik Stoiser & Wolschner AG made up for its anniversary in the spring with a celebration of 111+1 years of existence. At the same time, a record annual result was reported for the anniversary year. SW Umwelttechnik produces a variety of precast concrete elements for building construction, underground construction and road construction at a total of 9 plants in Austria, Hungary and Romania. In 2019, SW Umwelttechnik invested in a complete block making plant at the Alsózsolca site in Hungary to expand the product range to include high-quality concrete paving stones. At the end of 2019, the block making plant supplied by Rekers, which is based on the new flagship machine type RS4 KV presented at the bauma 2019, was successfully commissioned and has thus also contributed to the continuous growth and the record result. Especially in the field of concrete paving stones, considerable growth potential is still being seen in Hungary, so that SW Umwelttechnik has decided to continue the growth course and the success story with another complete block machine from Rekers.
