Aurora (Cierros Aurora Ltda., Chile) manufactures precast concrete units, such as manholes, channels, pits and kerbs. The company has brought production process to date by favouring automation and has recently acquired a new CGM vibrating demoulding machine, TB model, for manufacturing concrete products. This investment has allowed Aurora to improve productivity right from the start. A key factor regarding kerb production: the company used to make 300 items per day applying traditional methods with a vibrating table; currently, and thanks to the CGM vibrating moulding machine, the company’s average output is about 1000 daily pieces.
