Qanbar Dywidag Precast Concrete Company Limited (QDC), member of Al Ansari Holding Company, was formed in 1981 as a partnership between one of the leading businessmen in the Eastern Province, Sheikh Abdul Razak Mohammed Qanbar Al Ansari, and one of the largest German General Contractors and Precast concrete manufactures, Dyckerhoff & Widmann AG (Dywidag). In January 1st 2002, Sheikh Abdul Razak Mohammed Qanbar Al Ansari bought the whole share of Dywidag and became the sole owner of QDC. QDC has built a strong name for quality and competitiveness, completing many prestigious projects for Royal Commission of Jubail, Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), Sceco, Sabic the New King Fahad International Airport, Ministries and the private sector.
