Very high demands are almost invariably placed on coloured concrete when it comes to outward looks. The only exceptions that might be brought up here are: so-called identification colouring of certain concrete components, and core concrete colouring in the manufacture of concrete paving blocks and concrete slabs i.e. concrete which is not exposed. In all other cases, the coloured concrete surface’s outer appearance is one of the most important criteria in consumer evaluation. This is so for the simple reason that the appearance of the concrete surface is the only item that can be evaluated by the consumer without the utilisation of technical resources directly after the concrete has been laid or cast in.
