The Little Book of Concrete series was introduced by the British Precast Concrete Federation as a new method of communicating information about precast concrete. The small format is designed to fit easily into pockets and is easier to give to decision makers than larger files and folders. The first title was launched at the ICCX Conference in Berlin in 2006 – titled 100 Advantages of Precast. The first Little Book has been a great success not just in Britain but also internationally with national versions published under licence in the USA, Germany, Austria and Spain. Other countries seem likely to follow suit. Now two years later comes the second title The Little Green Book of Concrete – Sustainable Construction with Precast Concrete.
