At the end of 2009, Kändler Anlagenbau GmbH (KAB) from Minden, Germany put into operation a newly developed technology for cooling concrete for Dyckerhoff AG on the new ICE Ebensfeld-Erfurt line in Grossbreitenbach Germany. The combination of modules, manufactured and distributed by KAB since 2005, has proved to be particularly beneficial for tunnel construction sites.
