The beauty of ‘natural’ materials such as the irregular surface of a stone face or the grain of a wooden surface, are now possible to repro- duce in concrete thanks to the technology successfully tested by Vortex Hydra. The manufacture of these sought after building products is now made possible on a large scale production operation by the use of extrusion that employs the use of aluminum pallets manufactured by Vortex Hydra. By using die-cast aluminum pallets it is now possible to automate the production of these “natural’ appearances concrete prod- ucts, that up to now were usually produced using wet-casting processes. Such automation reduces the labour involvement so significantly reducing the manufacturing costs.
