The 15th International IFF Congress on ‘Flexible manufacturing and use of concrete precast elements’ drew successfully to a close. Over 200 participants met on 12 and 13 November 2008 for the traditional Congress of the Institut für Fertigteiltechnik und Fertigbau (IFF) in Weimar. The interdisciplinary content of the Congress – building material developments, processing and process engineering, flexible manufacturing equipment, quality assurance and the use of concrete precast elements – not only appealed to many German professional colleagues, but also met with great interest from abroad.
