The operator of a Canadian factory that manufactures steel reinforced concrete pressure pipes and bridge elements has changed the production completely. Munro Concrete Products Ltd has significantly reduced the production time of its precast concrete elements thanks to the now largely automated pouring of the concrete, with a Putzmeister concrete pump, a conveying pipe adapted to the spatial conditions and a 4-arm concrete placing boom that reaches all moulds and fills them with concrete. The quality of the steel reinforced concrete pressure pipes has at the same time been significantly improved.
