During 2021, Mixon began the development of new inte- grated software to control the entire cycle of concrete production, transport, and casting for its precast plants. The main purpose was not a simple upgrade of existing software, but different, more modern control architecture based on newly available technologies. In recent years, the development of new connection and interconnection technologies have indeed radically transformed our daily lives; each of us now uses, through palmtops, computers and smartphones a data traffic that was unthinkable just few years ago.
