… precast concrete plants? Only a few construction projects have so far been implemented using the BIM approach. Accordingly, BIM still plays a rather subordinate role for precast concrete plants. Nevertheless, even today, sub-areas of the BIM approach can be advantageously transferred to the work processes in the plant. 3D models of components or buildings as well as cloud solutions facilitate data exchange and communication in the plant as well as with partners and customers. In addition, they make data exchange and communication less error-prone. And finally, the plant is already well equipped with 3D models and cloud solutions, when construction projects are implemented more and more frequently according to the BIM approach in the foreseeable future.
