The need of anchor systems specially qualified for use in seismic regions is steadily increasing. In the first part of this article (in CPI 6, 2017), cast-in anchors under seismic actions were assessed. Since the seismic design of anchorages differs from the usual design for static and quasi-static loading, the procedure is described in the present article step by step.
