Southeast Asia has been regarded for some years now as an ever-expanding economic area and interesting sales market for German companies. Thailand has also come to be ranked amongst the so-called “Little Tiger States”. After several economically difficult years, the construction industry has recorded growth in the region of 12% since 2015. This positive trend was maintained in 2016 and 2017 as well. Forecasts for the coming years envisage demand for the construction of 50,000 to 60,000 apartments on an annual basis.
