Another innovation from Messmann in Germany can be seen in the vicinity of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. High-pressure water pipes for a new power plant construction project are being produced in a field factory set up by a European manufacturer. These large pipes with an outside diameter of 4 metres are made from concrete and weigh up to almost 30 tonnes. Messmann has developed a completely new concept for handling such pipes.
