The Rekers company presented numerous innovations at the bauma 2016 trade show. The system that probably received the greatest interest from most stand visitors was the new RS2KV concrete block machine. One of the products that can be made with this machine is facing brick slips. Naturally, they could not be produced live on the stand, but samples were exhibited on the stand, while operation of the new concrete block machine could only be simulated by a dry run in Munich. To demonstrate production of the facing bricks, which are only 15 mm thick, to its customers and interesting parties, Rekers had assembled a RS2KV concrete block machine in its production hall in Spelle. In July and August, it produced facing brick slips before the eyes of visitors.
