At this year's Bauma, Würschum exhibited several innovations for manufacturing high-class colour-mix concrete products, such as paving blocks with multi-coloured facing concrete, large-sized slabs, large-format precast components and high-value wet-cast products. A system for enhanced precision requirements of ± 1 g was presented as well as a new dust-free powder batching system, amongst other products. Batching powder pigments into a mixer can also be carried out by gravity discharge besides the widely-used pneumatic conveying systems. Intermediate storage of up to three colour batches is also available with this dust-free gravity discharge system for rapidly supplying sever- al mixers in an optimum way.
