Western Samoa is a small island state in South Pacific about 4-hour flight north of New Zealand. It is known for its beautiful resorts, warm and clean waters, and very friendly people. Because of its natural beauty, Samoa attracts many tourists from all around the world. The need to upgrade the existing infrastructure (bridges, roads, sea port, airport, etc.) and build new commercial and residential houses is growing. For many years there had been only one company supplying ready mixed concrete to the market. The Samoan government and the prime minister in particular have realised the necessity for another concrete supplier, so they approached Ulia Construction and the challenge was accepted.
