“Follo line”, the largest infrastructure project in Norway of our time, is becoming a reality with the construction of the longest Scandinavian railway tunnel to date. The project will be completed by the end of 2021 with the aid of two tunnel boring machines and will be the first endeavour of this nature in the region. Norwegian railways took up the job of this undertaking commissioned by the Ministry of Transport and Communication. The project was assigned to a joint venture composed of the Spanish Acciona and the Italian Ghella.
