The construction industry is known to be one of the most hazardous among the various industries existing all over the world. The potential chances for accidents and near miss cases are very high during precast erection. It is therefore important to conduct risk assessments with the aim of planning and implementing control measures during erection stages. The primary causes of incidents in precast erection are on account of necessary lifting operations and work activities at substantial heights.
