StH Stahlverarbeitung Hoffmann GmbH is based in Lauchhammer, about 50 km north of Dresden. The company was established in 2002 and its main lines of business are reinforcement construction and factory prefabrication. Today, as one of the few full-range suppliers in Germany, the company processes customer orders with 55 qualified employees in multi-shift operation. Around 75 % of StH’s production is taken up with contract manufacturing for precast plants. Only 25 % is delivered directly to the building site, e.g. large sleeve foundations with steel built-in components. As a certified welding specialist StH delivers factory-prefabricated formwork-free reinforcing elements throughout Germany, either through shipping companies or, depending on the distance involved, with its own vehicles, some of which are equipped with appropriate unloading technology. StH uses exclusively reinforcing steel and reinforcing steel mats from suppliers that are subject to quali- ty monitoring according to DIN 488 and DIN 1045-1 and are in possession of a certificate of compliance. StH specialises in the cutting, bend- ing and delivery of reinforcing steels, standard and design meshes, the installation of reinforcing steel and meshes by its own installer, the welding of reinforcing steel (in the factory and on the building site), the delivery and pre-processing of section steel as well as planning ser- vices and the optimisation of implementation plans.
