Adding the optimum amount of water is one of the most critical factors in concrete production and resembles a balancing act. If too little water is added, it can cause losses in strength. With too great a quantity of water, the concrete no longer possesses sufficient fresh concrete stability (key word – bulging). In both cases, the concrete goods no longer satisfy prescribed requirements and unsellable product waste is generated. Ha-Be Betonchemie GmbH & Co.
