At Interpack 2005, specialist machine builder MOSCA, of Wald-brunn, presented a total of three machines that seal strapping using new ultrasonic technology. A special sonotrode produces the seal very efficiently. The tensile strength of the seal is up to 90 % of the tensile strength of the strap itself.
