In mid-November 2012, SR-Schindler installed a new slab manufacturing system at Excluton in Druten, The Netherlands. This system is com- posed of a hermetic turntable press, colouring plant for producing dual or multi-colour slabs, horizontal storage units, drying chamber with air circulation system, high-pressure pallet cleaning device, finishing plant and combined horizontal/vertical packaging unit. The overall sys- tem was especially designed for manufacturing Excluton’s new Mondo – X slab collection.
