IPHA the International Prestressed Hollowcore Association celebrated its 10th anniversary this year at its biannual conference in Prague atten-ded by 38 Members and Associate Members from the international precast community. The associa-tion brings together the commercial and technical expertise of the prestressed hollowcore floor manufacturers and machine suppliers. The confe- rence aims to debate and develop the use and innovation of prestressed hollowcore worldwide as a prime solution to the offsite manufacture of concrete structural components. The Terry Treanor Award for Innovation this year was awarded to Echo Engineering for their Drain Deck permeable plank system for storm-water management of car parking areas.
