Stork and Hess Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, a leading German manufacturer of machines for building materials, have signed a contract on Tuesday 18th of July 2006 for the acquisition of the activities of Stork Bouwtechniek by Hess with effect from 1st of July 2006. Stork Bouwtechniek will continue at its location in Hengelo, The Netherlands, for the time being under the same name. The acquisition will have no effect on employment levels.
