An attractive tramway underpass is currently under construction in Leipzig. The architect, Matthias König-Roetzer from Planwerk, Kronberg, Germany has designed what is largely an open trough made from pale and anthracitecoloured face concrete not far from the football arena. The concrete will offer an impressive sight, not by using special surface designs but by merely making use of the structure of the elements, material and its colouring.
