One of Germany’s leading manufacturers of sealing systems, StekoX, has been awarded the ‘econStar’ gold prize for their Polyfleece SX 1000 swellable sealing fleece. The Magstadt company received the inaugural Innovation Award on 25 October 2012 as part of the Freiburg “econ- stra” exhibition for Civil Engineering and Building Maintenance. Amongst over 50 submissions, the jury was looking for innovations that had extensively addressed both technical and environmental challenges.
