Structural frame for multi-storeyprecast buildings

Innovative structural design methods from Italy

The Brooklyn System project started in 1998 by Styl-Comp Group – then patented by B.S. Italia – and has been developed in two different versions: the cable-stayed and the suspended. Both versions are designed to use “dry” ductile connections between structural elements. The result is a precast frame with rigid connections in which ascending forces are applied from the exterior to contrast gravity loads.
