Leripresa – Leridana de Prefabricados S.A. – in Tárrega in Catalonia belongs to the GLS Group, which specialises in the production of precast concrete elements. The beginnings of the group, which comprises the four works Cafisol, Leripresa, Vituc and Funductil, go back to the year 1960. Initially a small selection of prefabricated products were manufactured, above all for civil engineering. In the years that followed, the group stepped up production and the works quickly grew to 7,500 m2 hall area and over 85,000 m2 overall area. The range of products also grew – from kerbstones, hollow blocks, slabs and pavers to pipes, manholes and much more. The group currently possesses the latest machines and its own testing laboratory, which helps to ensure the high quality demands. In order to be well-equipped for the future too, a modern KVM block making machine with WASA-UNIPLAST underlay boards has now been installed at the Leripresa works in Tárrega.
