The Grafenwöhr military training area is the largest American military base outside the USA and is to be further extended. As part of this decision, plans were drawn up for the Netzaberg housing area, which Zapf will build on the Netzaberg in the Oberpfalz (Upper Palatinate) by the end of 2008. With 830 houses, 830 garages and all outdoor facilities, the Netzaberg is one of the largest residential projects in Germany and at the same time the largest in the history of the company.
