For the reuse of fresh concrete recycling materials, fresh concrete is separated by the recycling process into a flowable aggregate mixture (with no granulation) and waste water. This is achieved by washing out and separating the as-yet unhardened concrete. Good results in terms of concrete and the technology are obtained with a separation cut within the range of 0.20 – 0.25 mm. Only particles smaller than 0.20 – 0.25 mm then enter the residual water tank with the residual water. Irrespective of the washing-out process all recycling systems available on the market today ensure this separation cut under normal conditions. It does not matter which washing-out process (washing screw, pan washer or washing drum) is selected.
