Incidences are occurring more frequently in which operators of concrete production facilities are unable to conduct accruing amounts of residual water back into production in sufficient quantity. For example, a great deal of effort and expense is put into the disposal of excess water in prestressed concrete manufacturing. This problem can be solved by utilising water treatment systems where the residual water is clarified with the aid of flocculent additives plus sedimentation in an Aquaclean Silo with a down-stream Ecopress. It can subsequently be reintroduced into production as 100% clarified water, or else excess quantities can be led off without problem as waste water once neutralisation has been carried out.
