“Experience concrete!” is not an empty phrase for the Erdbrügger corporate group, but an ongoing adventure. With its three companies, Betonwerk Bieren GmbH, Metromax PRC GmbH & Co. KG and Betonwerk Werste GmbH, the corporate group is active in building construction and civil engineering and produces an extensive range of precast concrete elements for both sectors. While steel reinforced precast concrete elements for building construction are produced at Betonwerk Werste and polymer sewer systems are manufactured at Metromax, Betonwerk Bieren GmbH manufactures pipes and manholes for civil engineering at three locations. Bieren produces monolithic concrete manhole bases at two locations with the Peco System from B+S Engineering GmbH. The prototype of the Peco System, which was presented a year earlier at the bauma trade show, was put into operation at the Bad Oeynhausen location in 2011. The prototype was sold in 2016 and a new generation of the Peco System was installed in Bad Oeynhausen. The facility in Hückelhoven was the second plant to be equipped with the manhole base production system from B+S. All of the manhole bases are configured at the Bad Oeynhausen plant. The orders are sent digitally to the two production facilities using the ERP/PECO manhole configurator interface.
