The first part of this paper introduces the importance of the characterisation of the flow behaviour of cement-based mixes and justifies the increasing use of rheometric techniques for such a purpose. The second part presents the most relevant findings that have been reported in studies dealing with the influence of temperature on the flow properties of such mixes. Particular attention is paid to the differing experimental conditions and procedures that various researchers have applied and conclusions drawn from the different types of tests.
