In order to be able to successfully manage a precast factory with long term profitability, the pricing of the precast elements must not only cover all costs, but also allow leeway for reserves and profits. In many cases, however, the real costs incurred due to the production of precast elements are not known precisely. This applies both to the materials and to the time (= staff costs) required for the production of the precast elements. This article is intended to sensitise precast factory operators to this subject, and at the same time to present a software that will ensure in a very short space of time that the overview can be maintained and that profitable prices can be calculated.
