​Afinitas, a leading global infrastructure equipment and services company, is pleased to welcome back Jared Calease to its engineering team as the new Director of Engineering for the Afinitas Forming Systems Division. Calease previously worked for the New Hampton engineering team as a Product Designer.

Prior to rejoining Afinitas, Calease spent the last 14 years at GMT Corporation in Waverly, IA, which specializes in large, complex heavy machining, fabrication and assembly. He served in a variety of roles there, including as Senior Manufacturing Analyst, Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Engineering and Quality Manager, and most recently as Commercial Estimating Manager. Calease also has experience as a construction Assistant Operations Manager and as a Machinist.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology and Education from Iowa State University.

Calease will be based in New Hampton, IA, where he resides with his wife and two daughters.
