Afinitas, a leading global infrastructure equipment and services company, is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Dull, P.E., and Kyle Hignett to its Forming Systems Division sales team, and Dan Hodel to the Afinitas engineering team. Dull and Hignett will report to Derek Von Cannon, Vice President of Sales for the Afinitas Forming Systems Division, which encompasses products from New Hampton Metal Fabrication and Spillman Company. Hodel will report to Dave Stoller, Vice President of Global Engineering for Afinitas.
Dull, who will manage the South Central/Eastern sales territory for the Afinitas Forming Systems Division, has nearly 35 years of experience in a wide range of areas/industries within construction doing product sales, marketing and engineering. For the last 15 years, he was a market manager with Tencate Geosynthetics, the world’s leading provider of geosynthetics and industrial fabrics. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, OH. Dull will be based in Clayton, NC.
Hignett will be based in Columbus, OH, and will manage the Central/Northeast sales territory for the Afinitas Forming Systems Division. He brings more than 15 years of diverse business experience to this role, including 10 years with Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Miami University in Oxford, OH, and an MBA from Franklin University in Columbus, OH.

Hodel joined Afinitas in January 2020 as a Senior Automation Engineer. His past experience includes 19 years with Johnson Gas of Cedar Rapids, IA, working as a combustion engineer for the company’s concrete curing division. In this role he was responsible for design, engineering, support, sales and marketing for curing concrete products for pipe, prestress, precast, block, pavers, roof tile architectural and experimental applications. Hodel also worked as an automation engineer for Advance Interface Solutions and as a process engineer for Eli Lilly. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis in controls and audio from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Hodel will be based in Iowa.
