Reckli artico® adds a major component to the creative freedom for architectural concrete. Photos, pictures, individual designs and graphics can be made visible using this technique. The influence of light and shadow no longer plays any part. For that reason Reckli artico is equally suitable for the indoor area. The technique is simple: a concrete retarder is applied to a plastic or magnetic foil. This is placed inside the formwork and causes a time-shifted setting of the concrete. When the surface is washed out, light/dark effects are created. As a result the surface properties and thus the feel of the concrete are changed.
