At the SAIE Bologna show held from 5 to 8 October 2011, Weiss srl presented its new Weiss Total Control quality control system. This innovative system is composed of a board lifting and weighing unit at the entry to the block machine (consisting in a group of four load cells installed on a mobile platform that raises the board to measure its weight between production cycles) and a second board lifting and weighing unit at the exit from the block machine (consisting in a group of four load cells installed on a mobile platform that raises the board with the wet products to measure its weight between production cycles). An anthropomorphic robot with 4 axes and a special head unit measures and weighs wet products immediately after production.
