The Third International fib Congress & PCI Convention from May 29-June 2, 2010, drew over 1700 participants from more than 50 countries, roughly half of these from the United States. The program at the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, Md., just outside of Washington, D.C. was the most comprehensive that the concrete structures industry has ever experienced at one event, with 500 peer-reviewed, technical presentations and over 125 educational sessions. In addition, 50 PCI committees and 21 fib commissions and task groups held meetings during the conference. A special Architects Day program, which drew more than 125 architectural professionals, was lauded by PCI Producer Members as one of the most valuable events ever held at a PCI Convention.
