Project development began in May, 2007 when Weiler Germany was contacted by the regional Mexican construction company Grupo GOF. Their principal interest at the time was for equipment and technology for the production of hollowcore floor slabs and wall panels. But the request came with special conditions: complete mobility to provide market coverage over a large geographic region.
