The OOO ‘Domostroitelny Kombinat’ precast plant from Nabereschnyje Tschelny, Tatarstan, celebrated an important anniversary in 2012. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of its establishment, the site in the eastern part of European Russia was extended by a new production line for the manufacture of sandwich walls and solid elements. The contract for the modernisation and extension of the existing works was finally awarded after three years of intensive negotiations. The German machine and plant manufacturer Ebawe Anlagentechnik GmbH, based in Eilenburg near Leipzig, was awarded the contract in an offi- cial ceremony attended by numerous business functionaries and in the presence of Tatarstan’s Minister for Construction, Architecture and Housing, I.E. Faizullin.
