Fingo N.V. is a well-established company that started production of its prestressed concrete hollow core slabs in Belgium in 2009 but its history actually began back to 1946, when the Van Cauwenbergh family started production of hollow core floor slabs manufactured using reinforcing rebar, which was the method of production widely used before prestressing. These slabs were used in residential construction.
