The terms "artificial intelligence" and "CO2 footprint" characterize a large number of development projects of our time. In this context, it is often exciting to experience the determination with which clear basic requirements for optimal control of the necessary related processes are only insufficiently taken into account. The present article therefore deals with the adaptation of algorithms for the reproducible characterization of kinetic processes in the context of structure formation and hardening of cement paste, mortar and concrete. Based on the fact that in the future macroscopic phenomena will have to be viewed holistically at different temporal development levels, the quality monitoring of cementitious binders on the basis of constant w/c ratios is also no longer state-of-the-art [1].
