One of the most modern precast plants in France, with a production area of almost 7,000 m2, was recently built 50 km south-west of Paris. The pallet circulation plant at A2C in Sivry Courtry is designed for the production of floor slabs, double walls and core insulated precast con- crete elements and has the highest technological standards in the world. This is reflected in particularly in the high degree of automation, which provides for an annual production capacity of over 700,000 m2 forming area. The new production plant was designed and supplied completely by the plant specialist Vollert, which realised the project in less than one year following tendering.
