Weckenmann introduced its new, patented Twin-Z formwork robot to the interested audience of trade visitors at bauma 2007. Three years later, it is possible to talk about a thoroughly successful new development that has set new standards in the automated production of precast concrete elements. Compared to the conventional system that Weckenmann developed as long ago as 1991 and which is still built, the Twin-Z robot was extended by a second vertical axis, also known as the Z-axis.
