Rector is a French specialist focussing on the production of prestressed and reinforced concrete elements and operating more than 15 production facilities in France, Belgium and Poland. At an early stage already, the company started to concentrate its activities on the reduction of the environmental impact of precast system production. This year, Rector has now completed its product range of low-carbon precast slabs and precast sandwich walls. The environmental performance of these products has even gone beyond Rector’s initial quality improvement objective, confirmed by obtaining NF certifications for its low-carbon concrete recipes and other specific Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
