The long-standing motto “The world is in motion. We give it support.” of the Philipp Group, based in the German city of Aschaffenburg, is now supplemented by the addition “Now even more permanent.” With the new PHILIPP permanent fastening system (PB system, see Fig. 1), the user is provided with a long-lasting solution that enables joining elements or structural connections of any kind to precast concrete elements but also to in-situ concrete components. Design engineers and planners will also appreciate that the basis for the design of these systems is the new Part 4 of Eurocode 2 (DIN EN 1992-4), the current Standard for anchoring fasteners in concrete.
