Kann GmbH Baustoffwerke is a leading manufacturer of concrete products with 21 sites in Germany and their head office in Bendorf. In 2018, the company decided on constructing an entirely new concrete production facility for high-class paving blocks and concrete products in Schermbeck. The concrete block-making machine was supplied by the Topwerk Hess Group; the facing concrete mixer was made by Pemat and the core concrete mixer by Teka. For colour dosing, the decision was taken to install a new cutting-edge Würschum granule metering system. Kann in Schermbeck selected Würschum’s COM type system for granules with 10 colour positions to meet all their requirements concerning colour diversity as well as very great precision and cleanliness.
