The times when closed or insert stirrups had to be laboriously bent by hand are long a thing of the past. Stirrup bending machines have been facilitating this work for many years now but are often limited to standard shapes. Shapes, in which both ends are bent, are now more frequently in demand but require an additional processing stage. It is frequently necessary even to use rod material instead of material from a coil.
